Confederate Dog River Cavalry Sword & Scabbard

Authentic Civil War Confederate cavalry sword, typically referred to as a "Dog River" pattern based on the Model 1840 Heavy Wristbreaker sword. Rough cast brass hilt, leather grip with single wire intact. 36" slightly curved blade, unstopped fuller. Sold with correct single seam iron scabbard, two brass collars with rings, overall 43.75" long overall. Condition: Looseness to hilt, blade with typical wear from service, dings to scabbard.
