Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The mother of pearl presents with surface irregularities and color variations inherent to the medium and characteristic of the designer’s practice. The mother of pearl presents with a few minute chips, some possibly inherent to production and only visible upon close inspection. The lacquered surfaces present with scattered faint scratches and light scuffing throughout consistent with gentle use. The tabletop presents with a few scattered traces of white house paint, not visually distracting. The veneered underside of the tabletop presents with fine hairline cracks to the wood and displays slight separation at the seams, not impacting stability. The underside of the table presents with a small chip to one corner of the veneer measuring approximately 1 x ½ in., only visible upon close inspection.
