Continental Etched Brass Sundial

17th/18th century sundial, possibly Swiss, the standing gnomon above the dial plate with Roman numerals and hour lines, within an heraldic coat of arms: a crowned double-headed eagle with halos and swords, the center inscribed "Jacob Senebier." Possibly Hapsburg. [4" H x 9 1/2" W x 8" D]. Some spots and wear; abrasions; adhesive felt to reverse.
