Case: Gilt metal, the lid with translucent yellow enamel over engraving centered by a polychrome enamel painting of putti, gilt interior, the lid fitted with a mirror and two compartments with amethyst cabochons, the reverse with floral engraved borders and a translucent yellow enamel over engraving band centered by an applied monogram "CM"

Condition Report: Case in overall excellent condition with very little wear to the edges, light surface scratches to the enamel. Back panel with light oxidation visible through the edges of the enamel. Hard enamel with no apparent restoration. Mirror with some spotting and fogging.
