Continental Neoclassical-Style Gilt Metal, Marble, and Wood Mantle Clock
having enameled dial with Arabic numerals, in wood case having stepped pediment, stepped base, and sides with fretwork panels, the case topped with a large gilt metal urn having a pointed finial, chain ending in faux tassels, and a marble plinth, and the front corners of the case having gilt-metal mounted marble columns, movement numbered "832" next to an upside-down "4", inside of back door numbered by hand, probably "7438R".
Overall 18 x 9 3/4 x 5 1/2 in. (45.7 x 24.8 x 14 cm.)

Metal with small dents and scratches; case with a small loss and minor splits; fretwork panels with tears and losses; possible touch-up on dial; wear.
