Condition Report: Lined canvas. Edges of original canvas are visible; piece has likely been cut down. A very few small losses at edges, particularly at lower edge. Slight yellowing to the varnish layer. Finely patterned craquelure. A few small areas of surface abrasion and accretion. Not examined out of frame.Under UV: varnish fluoresces green/blue unevenly. A few small areas of brushy retouching in the background. More finely applied dots and dashes of retouching to the figure's forehead and chin, and to a lesser extent, her cheeks. Brushy retouching to the underside of the proper left side of her hat.Framed Dimensions 30.5 X 25 Inches Heritage Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
