Condition Report: Both examples are relined, with scattered craquelure, pinprick-sized losses, darkening of the varnish layer and stretcher marks. Example without Insect: Inpainting repair to uppermost tulip, upper right background, mid-left, lower left, and an inverted L-shaped old tear repair to lower portion of canvas. Example with Insect: Drip-like accretions. Inpainting touch-ups to upper portion of canvas, several linear old tear repairs to lower portion of canvas, as well as some touch-ups. Ask for additional photos. Frames with marks, nicks, abrasions and flaked losses.
