Copper Boiler, Kettle & Pitcher

A trio of copper decorative and utilitarian items featuring wrought and cast construction. The group includes a large oval wash boiler or basin, a tea kettle, and a small pitcher. The wash boiler is a large oval vessel with wrought and seamed construction, characterized by two horizontal reinforcement ribs encircling the body. It features cast brass handles secured by four heavy copper rivets on each side, fitted with turned wooden grips. The interior shows copper seaming and rivet heads. The tea kettle is of wrought copper construction with a visible horizontal central seam. It features a fixed-overhead brass handle with a turned wooden grip and a curved spout. The lid is fitted with a black turned knob. The small copper pitcher or ewer has a bulbous body with a central horizontal seam. It is fitted with a cast brass handle, a cast brass spout, and a lid featuring a decorative brass acorn finial. No maker marks, hallmarks, or country of origin stamps are visible on any of the three pieces.
