Couple with Bird Cages Figurines

German. Late 19th/early 20th century. Porcelain. A wonderful matching pair of decorative figures crafted by Sitzendorf, Thuringia, Germany. The pair depict a young man and woman holding bird cages with birds both inside and out. Around their feet, the bases are decorated with delicate flowers. Hallmarked to Sitzendorf porcelain on the base. Hallmark, is underneath the base. Lot 1: 9.5" x 5.25" x 3.5". Lot 2: 9.5" x 4" x 4".
Condition Report: The figure of the man has had repair to the head (reattached).
