A selection of six typed letters signed ('Joan') to longtime fan Frank Halls, one thanking him "for the beautiful post card from Tenerife, the two charming color pictures of you there, your two lovely letters, the beautiful blue scarf and the interesting brochures from the Canary Islands", 28 July 1971; another letter reads "Your miners' strike and power cuts must have been extremely difficult for you, particularly during the winter when heating in homes was so needed", 1 June 1972; in a later letter Crawford writes "I am delighted that you had such a wonderful holiday in the south of France. That is a glorious area", 4 June 1975; the last letter thanks Frank "for the enchanting Christmas card and your lovely letter. It was good of you to think of me at this special time of the year. I hope your Christmas was happy, and the New Year will be a glorious one for you and your loved ones", 29 December 1976; six pages, folding marks, 4to, 1971-1976, with original mailing envelopes (6)
