A Georgian sterling silver cream jug. Hallmarked by Nathaniel Smith & Co (mark in use from 1781 to 1808) , head of King George III, assay office Sheffield, mark of the year partially rubbed but presumably 1797) . It has an elegant shape and a pleasant engrave; monogram engraved and rubbed. The cream jug is high cm. 11. 30, long (including the handle) cm. 12 and cm. 6 wide. Weight 109 grams Condition: Very good, minor surface scratches / wear in keeping with general age and wear.
