Crucifix - Bronze - DR Congo - Late 18th century

Nkangi Kitidu Crucifix Nkangi, DRC Congo Late 18th century Brass. Height: 15 cm; Width: 8 cm. (the casting is thinner at the base, it is visible on the picture) Rare and ancient representation of Christ on the cross. A figure with expressive features cast in the round, presented on a cross inserted into a base with stairs, consolidated by a geometric piece, in order to remain straight.
