Crystal sprinkler and salt cellar with silver frames - .833 silver - Pieter Pieterse - Netherlands - 1846-1870

A crystal shaker van and salt cellar standing on 3 bulbous feet and finished with silver mounting. Crystal with diamond pattern. Rim salt cellar is missing a small tip. (see photo 4) . Height salt cellar approx. 9. 5 cm. Diameter 6. 5 cm. Total weight 182 g. Height salt shaker 16 cm. Total weight 156 g. Silver is by Pieter Pieterse, Amsterdam, 1846-1870. Provided with various silver hallmarks including Minerva head, PP and running lion (see photos) . Shaker is unpolished, tip cap is a bit crooked. Diamond pattern crystal differs slightly. (last photo) . Given the age, the lot is in very good condition.
