Beautiful couple of young newlyweds Magiare on the banks of the Balaton who, chatting, show off their typical multicolored costumes. The painting is signed lower left and attributed as the Artist Istvan Csok. Also attached is the copy of the original invoice which certifies the purchase of the painting at the Mugyutok Galeriaja gallery in Budapest on 01/04/1990 and cleared in Italy on 09/06/1990 at the customs of Tarvisio (ITALY) István Csók (Sáregres, February 13, 1865 - February 1, 1961) was a Hungarian impressionist painter. He lived and exhibited in Paris for part of his life. Famous in Hungary for his nudes, portraits and landscapes of Lake Balaton. He has done international exhibitions in cities such as Rome, San Francisco, Pittsburgh and London. He has twice won the Kossuth Prize. Painted in first canvas and in excellent condition.
