Curved secretary cabinet - Rococo Style - Burr walnut, Walnut - circa 1900

Louis XV baroque curved burr walnut secretaire cabinet. Piece of furniture featuring in the lower part a chest of drawers opening by 2 drawers without crossbar and a flap revealing a nice internal theatre. In the upper part a bookcase with 2 glazed leaves ending in a constable's hat with shell sculptured decorations. Generous curved shapes for this two-part piece of furniture, carefully papered on the inside and resting on arched feet. Quality of cabinetmaking. Dimensions: H 230 × W 119 × D 56 Period: 1900
