Cut Crystal Hatpin Holder & Hatpins

A footed vessel made of clear cut crystal, characterized by a tapered neck, a bulbous midsection, and a flared, heavy base. The exterior is decorated with a combination of vertical mitre cuts and frosted, stylized leaf motifs. The underside of the base features a deeply cut 16-point starburst rosette. Accompanying the vessel is a collection of decorative hatpins of varying styles. These include a clear glass teardrop-shaped head with a silver-tone metal filigree cap featuring scrollwork; a multi-tiered, pagoda-style silver-tone metal head with beaded horizontal bands and a pointed finial; a pin composed of assorted glass and metal beads including millefiori, faceted green, and turquoise-colored components; a clear glass bulbous pin with black and gold-tone bead accents; and a novelty pin featuring a silver-tone metal thimble base topped with a white and orange glass bead designed to resemble a cigarette. The base of the vessel was examined and no maker names, etched signatures, or adhesive labels were found.
