The plate sizes were approximately 8" x5". Signed on bottom St. Geo. Crescent.: W. Curtis and T. Curtis. Original work came from Curtis's Botanical Magazine. The Botanical Magazine; or Flower-Garden Displayed, is an illustrated publication which began in 1787. The longest running botanical magazine, it is widely referred to by the subsequent name Curtis's Botanical Magazine. Each measures 9.5"W x 13"H
