Cutlery cabinet in Louis XVI style and complete Cruz de Malta cutlery set, Louis XV model. The cutlery set contains more than 6 kg of silver, including the silver of the knives in total 8 kg. It is sterling silver (925) , the purest used in the world. Manufactured by Cruz de Malta in Spain. Limited series of 1000 cutlery sets. It includes a guarantee certificate (which guarantees its unlimited life due to the fineness of this precious metal) , a guarantee certificate, a fineness hallmark, an information leaflet and a silver cloth for cleaning. The cutlery set includes 116 pieces in total (9 full services and 8 serving pieces) : - 12 lunch forks - 12 lunch knives - 12 lunch mocha spoons - 12 table forks - 12 table knives - 12 table spoons - 12 fish forks - 12 fish slices - 12 mocha spoons - 1 serving fork - 1 serving spoon - 1 fish serving fork - 1 fish serving slice - 1 soup ladle - 1 sauce ladle - 1 cake shovel - 1 crumb shovel All parts have the initials RC engraved on them. In addition to the Cruz de Malta symbol, they have the 925 sterling silver hallmark and the mark of origin engraved. The piece of furniture—handcrafted in Guinean wood (rift-cut Sapelly) in classic style and topped with fine marquetry strokes—consists of a central body with a top opening and three retractable shelves containing the different trays, with handles and locks. The entire set was designed by the firm Muebles Negurl, S. A. from Luchana (Barakaldo) . The furniture is in excellent condition and the cutlery has never been used. Due to the long period of storage and disuse, the silver surface shows the characteristic surface sulphiding process, with dark grey or orange stains. This is completely normal and disappears by wetting a piece of cotton with a special silver cleaning product that can be found in any drugstore.
