Cypriot Terracotta Target Flask

Ancient Greece, Cyprus, ca. 800 BCE. A redware terracotta flask with a rounded base, a spherical body, and a thin tubular neck flanked by striped handles on either side and painted with a concentric circle design. The "target" motif was favored by potters on the Greek isle of Cyprus. Size: 5.125" L x 3.75" W x 2.75" H (13 cm x 9.5 cm x 7 cm)

Condition Report: Surface wear with eroded areas and faded pigments as shown. Both handles and neck have been repaired. Some white residue on bottom and numbers on side and bottom, most likely from being previously displayed.
