Cypriot bronze spear tip and Near Eastern dagger blade

A Cypriot bronze spear tip and a Near Eastern dagger blade. Lot includes a nice Cypriot bronze spear tip, c. 1600 - 1000 BC, with rounded shoulders and two incised grooves on either side of the blade; rat tail mounting tang on end. L: 10 1/4 in (26 cm). The second is a Near Eastern dagger blade, c. 1200 - 600 BC, the narrow blade showing signs of repeated sharpening and possesses a low midrib. The shoulders are rounded, and the mounting tang is short with part of a rivet hole visible. L: 9 5/8 in (24.4 cm). Ex Panagakos collection, Boston; thence by descent.
