Cypro-Geometric Painted Whiteware Amphora
15th-7th century BC. A ceramic polychrome handled vessel with bulbous body and tall neck with everted rim, the body divided into chevron-shaped panels with a branch in each panel, three further branches below each handle and net-pattern to the triangular panels below the neck, the lower neck with simple line and S-scroll decoration, the top part in full colour, both handles with a band of pellets to the upper face. 2.5 kg, 31.5cm (12 1/2").
