DALI SALVADOR: (1904-1989)
DALI SALVADOR: (1904-1989) Spanish surrealist artist. An 8vo half-title page removed from an edition of William Shakespeare´s Macbeth, being the 1946 edition of the play published by Doubleday and Company and featuring illustrations by Dali, signed and inscribed in black fountain pen ink by the artist, ´Pour Miss Mary Turlag Robinson, Hommages de Salvador Dali´, and dated 1947 in his hand. At the head of the page Dali has added a wonderful original pen and ink drawing in his hand, depicting a shooting star. One very light, extremely minor stain to the lower edge, otherwise VG
