D.A.R. Ribbon, Pin, & 2 14K Pocket Watches

1st item: 14K yellow gold Daughters of the American Revolution pin with ribbon. The medallion is designated for an Ex-chapter Regent and has maker's mark JEC with engraved names of Rachel L Holton and Ursula Wolcott to front and back. Marked "14K". Gross weight is 11.19 grams. 2nd item: 14K yellow gold Daughters of the American Revolution pin featuring 1 round brilliant diamond approximately 0.06 carats, clarity-SI1, Color-H. The pin is marked "14K" and gross weight is 1.87 grams. 3rd item: Ladies 14K yellow gold Hampden pocket watch. The watch case is marked "14K" and the movement is serial number "1490655". This watch was not functional at the time of inspection. Gross weight of the watch is 30.53 grams. 4th item: Ladies 14K yellow gold Waltham pocket watch. The case is marked "14K" and the movement serial number "10016318". This watch was functional at the time of inspection, gross weight of the watch is 21.85 grams. Provenance: The collection of Gary Glesser of Loudon, Tennessee, by descent from his grandparents, Captain Hoyt and Rachel Holton of Toledo, Ohio. Hoyt Holton became, at age 17, the youngest captain of a Great Lakes Freighter. In the 1960s, Captain Holton participated in a 26-day Admiral Byrd Society trip replicating the explorer's famous transpolar expedition, during which he met the Pope and Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev. Many items in the collection were brought back as souvenirs from that journey and other frequent voyages.
