"CAIN E ABEL"
Com a seguinte inscrição: Le Tableau appartient à Mr, de Peters Peintre Ordinaire de S.A.R. Le Prince Charles de Lorraine Gouverneur des Pays Bas, Grand Maître de l'Ordre Teutonique. Paris, Peint par Dietricy Peintre de la Cour de Saxe et gravé par J. Daullé, graveur du Roy, 1761. Chez Daullé Graveur du Roy Quay des Augustins la Porte - Cochère près la rue Gillecoeur.
Gravura francesa, sobre papel, aberta a água - forte, no seu estado primitivo a negro representando a morte de Abel e seu irmão Caim a ser admoestado por Deus devido ao seu crime. De grandes margens, estas com algumas manchas de humidade. Emoldurada. Com falta de uma das rosáceas que adornam os cantos da sólida moldura.

With the following inscription: The painting belongs to Mr. de Peters, Painter Ordinary to H.R.H. Prince Charles of Lorraine, Governor of the Netherlands, Grand Master of the Teutonic Order. Paris, Painted by Dietricy, Painter of the Saxon Court, and engraved by J. Daullé, Engraver to the King, 1761. At Daullé, Engraver to the King, Quay des Augustins, near the Gillecoeur street.
French engraving, on paper, watermarked, in its original black state, representing the death of Abel and his brother Cain being admonished by God for his crime. With large margins, some of which have stains from humidity. Framed. Missing one of the rosettes that adorn the corners of the solid frame.

Avec de larges marges, celles-ci présentant quelques taches d'humidité. Encadrée. Manque d'une des rosaces qui ornent les coins du solide cadre.
