DAUNIAN TERRACOTTA BICHROME ASKOS

A Daunian terracotta askos. It has a bulbous body with a concave top, a strap handle, a projecting funnel-form mouth, and a perky tail on the opposite end. The exterior is decorated with horizontal bands and waves in brown and black pigments. For similar see: MET Museum accession number. 1970.11.14.
