Thence by descent in the family

CONDITION
Observed in framed, a layer of uneven varnish visible to the naked eye. Minor blooming visible to the upper right corner, right edge and the left edge of the sky near the castle. Inspection under UV light shows scattered retouching to around 5% of the painting. Along the lower edge, the upper left corner and right edge around the womans feet.
