A 18 x 24 in. study for this painting "The Farm," was sold at Sothebys, New York (March 25, 2010, lot 209) for $34,375.
A similar small piece "Road to the Lighthouse, Martha's Vineyard, circa 1929" (18 x 13 in.), was sold at Doyle on May 22, 2007, lot 1057.
Condition Report: CONDITIONObserved in frame, the painting is in good condition, relined, a small spot of paint loss along the right edge, overall craquelure.
