oil on canvas
14 ⅜ by 24 ⅜ inches
(36.5 by 61.9 cm)
Condition Report:
The work is lined, tacked to modern stretchers and the extreme edges covered in brown tape. There is surface cracking throughout, most noticeably in the blue and white pigments of the sky, and stretcher bar marks along each edge. There are frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges. Under UV: there appear to be pindots and small spots of inpaint throughout the composition and to address frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges. Although some pigments do read strongly under UV, particularly in the darker areas of pigment in the lower half of the composition and tops of the green trees, they appear to be the artist's original.
