D'Aquin, Philippe (1578-1650)

After moving to Paris and changing his name, he also converted to Catholicism. His strong scholarship, knowledge of the Hebrew language, and traditions in the Kabbalistic teachings kept him publishing works such as the present volume, and his contribution's to Lejay's Polyglot Bible in the mid-1600s.
