Illustrated with 28 fold. plates. The mathematician and astronomer Delambre (1749-1822) was the director of the Paris Observatory. This work replaces the "Traité d'astronomie" (1764) written by Jérôme de La Lande, Delambre's teacher. - Ref. Houzeau & Lancaster 9274. - Honeyman 844 (calls for 28 pl.).
