REVOLVER.Cal. 31. S# 101863. Standard configuration, made 1855, 4" octagonal barrel script engraved: "SAML COLT". Frame has "COLTS PATENT" engraved in arc, full coverage engraving by Gustav Young shop, foliate scrolls terminating in hound's head on both barrel lug & frame on left side, loading lever pivot, wedge edges, & screws engraved en suite, fit with fine varnished figured burl walnut 1-piece grips. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, about 20% factory blue on barrel and protected areas, markings and engraving all sharp, grip frame retains about 80% original silver with indiscernible vintage inscribed name "A. H. Litlington Harrison". Cylinder has good stagecoach robbery rolled scene with light pitting on one side. Grips retain about 90% bright luster varnish. Mechanics fine, crisp rifled bore.
