DESIRABLE WORLD WAR I FRENCH CHAUCHAT MODEL 1915 MACHINE GUN MAGAZINES WITH ORIGINAL AND

Lot of six original French Chauchat machine gun magazines with one early vintage carrier, one post-WWI carrier, and one reproduction carrier. CONDITION: Very little finish remaining on magazines and otherwise a pleasing gray patina. All seem to have good spring tension. Reproduction carrier is near excellent. Other two carriers extremely fine and serviceable, one with green verdigris on buckle and brass drain hole, with corrosion at steel buttons; the other carrier has the leather strap cracking from age, yet still serviceable as is. Chauchat magazines are in high demand and the canvas carriers only enhance this lot. JWK 2024-05-050.
