DKW- Schnellaster - TWO UNITS - 1954

[ translate ]

This lot consists of two 1954 DKW (Auto Union) Schnellaster box wagons. One has a Danish registration and the other isn't registered. The second comes with a plate with the chassis number and year of manufacture. Both vehicles are from 1954. Both vehicles have a two-cylinder two-stroke engine with manual transmission. Both vehicles are suitable as restoration objects. The doors, windows, roofs and all parts of the undercarriage are included. The underfloor are original and made of wood, the engines dismantled and both vehicles are complete except for a rear window. Many additional parts are supplied, several parts from old stock, i. e. crankshaft, pistons, gaskets, radiator (still in the box) , speedometer, brake pads etc. (see photos) . Also included are many additional spare parts, with steering wheels, wheel rims, steering column etc. (see photos) . These parts are rare and very hard to find. In restored condition these vehicles are worth a fortune. At an auction in Pebble Beach such a vehicle was sold for $92,500 plus auction fee. I find these cars much more beautiful and much rarer than the T1. “In order to avoid later disappointment, it is recommended to view the vehicle prior to placing a bid. Please contact Catawiki to arrange an appointment. Errors excepted.
