Part of the DeLorean dealership agreement involved the purchase of a DeLorean-authorized sign. Per the agreement the sign had to be properly illuminated, prominently displayed, and maintained by the dealership. Despite its short time in business, DeLorean amassed a network of 343 official dealers across the United States.

This rare single-sided “DMC DeLorean Motor Cars” illuminated sign is a wonderful example of a DeLorean-authorized sign that was purchased by dealers in period. At over 11 feet in length, this impressive sign would make a brilliant addition to any collection, specifically one fortunate enough to have a DeLorean DMC-12.
