A mellow landscape of an Amish farm. The foreground with an Amish man on a plow pulled by a team of workhorses. Highly detailed painting with beautiful colors. From a summer studio on Monhegan Island, Maine, and a winter studio in Exeter, New Hampshire, Donald Stone painted landscapes and water scenes in a highly Impressionist style. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and taught in Boston at the Vesper George School of Art and the New England School of Art. Not examined out of frames.
