DOUCAI FUBAT & RUYI CLOUDS PORCELAIN DOUBLE GOURD

Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong Doucai Fu bats and Ruyi porcelain double gourds bottle. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, short cylindrical neck, straight open mouth, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slightly concave. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against doucai design color, is outlined in under glaze blue and filled in with over glaze colored enamels except blue colors which fit together but also contrasting or joined colors. Depicted of many Fu bats flying through scrolling ruyi clouds, all in vivid tones color. The glaze on this vase is rather thick and moisturizing while the color is strong and brilliant.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
