Artist biography: His art reflects a love of the Mediterranean region with its red-roofed homes and hillside villas, beaches, and gentle shorelines. His travels to France can be seen in many of his paintings. In 1991 he participated in ?The Great Art Exhibition? for the Korean government. In 1993 Kim exhibited as a member of a realistic and modern art group in the Seoul Realistic Art Exhibit. Since early 1997, Kim has traveled throughout the United States further developing and creating sketches and paintings. Kim currently finds inspiration and refuge in marshes and coastal waters of South Carolina and Florida.
