DUKE OF WINDSOR CREPE DE CHINE COVERLET

A fine embroidered and appliqued crepe de chine silk coverlet. The central motif is embroidered with the initials "WW" and is surrounded at each corner with heart and scrollwork details, reading various sentiments "Fickle Heart", "Captive Heart", and "Heart of Flame" in pink, yellow, and purple silk thread. Dated 1955.
