Condition Report:
The canvas appears original. There is frame abrasion to the work, which has resulted in loss of canvas in the upper left and lower left and right corners and to the left edge towards the lower corner, not visible in the current frame. There is a nick to the upper edge of the canvas, not visible in the current frame. There is a small area of fine lines of craquelure towards the centre of the left edge. There is a layer of dust and surface dirt and studio matter to the work.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light reveals some possible signs of fluorescence and retouching to the upper half of the work.

The work is presented in a wooden frame.
