[DUNNINGER – PHOTOGRAPHS] Archive of Over 70 Vintage Photographs of Dunninger. 1930s – 60s. Large and impressive group of candid and studio photographs of the most successful mentalist of his era, posed in television and radio studios, with various celebrities (including Buster Keaton), on the lecture platform demonstrating the tricks of fraudulent mediums, captured in mid-performance in a series of unpublished photographs taken from the back of a large hall (including some images showing Dunninger walking among the audience), and a host of other images, including studio headshots from various times throughout his career. Four images inscribed and signed by Dunninger to Bob Rossi, including one with a nearly-illegible signature from near the end of his career. Bulk 8 x 10”. Housed in two three-ring display binders. Generally good to very good condition. Nice lot.
