Bartsch 111; Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 138; Meder 225 probably b (of d, with the mountain gap and before the uninterrupted longest blade of grass top right). - Attractive, deep black impression surrounded by fine margin around the framing line, probably retraced in part with black pen. Fully backed with China paper. With restored tear in the centre from left margin to the leg of the rider. Small areas of rubbing and a few thin areas. The black areas partially enhanced with pen. Verso with residue of old mount.
Despite the stated defects, very good overall impression.
