Description

depicting mainly views of Dutch country houses (incl. the gardens) in the surroundings of Amsterdam, Leiden & Utrecht, nearly all published in Amsterdam by Leonardus Schenk (between ca. 1728-1736). Folio (ca. 41,5 x 27 cm.), early 18th-cent. gilt panelled mottled calf, both covers with central gilt ornament surrounded by double gilt floral borders with gilt fleuron oblique on each corner of the inner panel, gilt ribbed spine with black calf letterpiece, marbled edges.
