Daily Dime Register Banks
American. 1930s-1950s. Daily banks were usually given out by banking institutions as a means of getting kids to save their money. Character and theme (circus and space) bank often gave kids even more incentive to save. Popeye and Snow White are 1930s, Superman is 1940s, and Astronaut and Clown banks are 1950s. Marked, on Superman, Astronaut, Popeye and Snow White banks. Clown bank is unmarked.
