France, end of the 18th/beginning of the 19th century. Made mostly in oak with mahogany veneer, turned fluted legs, 1 drawer, richly chased and crafted bronze mounts and edging around the top, brown leather lining with gold decoration, this with some wear. Stamped C. RICHTER (Charles Erdman Richter, maître from 1784). Ca. 73.5 x 117 x 60.5 cm. Restored, structural elements in the drawers and base replaced. (MIN)
