Large Statue made in Italy in the precious Bianco Statuario marble.
The work of art represents the famous Baigneuse (Bather) , from the original model by the sculptor Étienne Maurice Falconet (1716-1791)

CONDITIONS:
Work of art in good condition, minor marks, (see photos) .

HISTORY OF THE ORIGINAL WORK:
Bather, also called Venus, Marble, exhibited at the Salon of 1767. Louis XV of France gave the statue to Madame Du Barry in 1772; he placed it in the gardens of his castle at Louveciennes.
The original work is currently on display at the Louvre Museum.

SHIPPING AND PACKAGING:
Shipping will be fast, traceable and fully insured.
The packaging will be made in a large custom-made wooden crate, on a pallet, with extremely professional materials.
The cost of production is €100, but the Art Gallery offers FREE packaging for this auction!
The costs indicated are therefore for shipping only.
Delivery will take place with the best couriers on the market and as a service included there will also be the tail lift which will unload the wooden crate directly from the truck into your garden.
The statue can be easily moved by 2 people using a trolley with wheels.
