Dale Keown (1962)

Dale Keown Shadowhawk Unused Trading Card Illustration Original Art (Comic Images, 1992). Originally created in 1992 for a Shadowhawk trading card set, this detailed image of a menacing Shadowhawk by Dale Keown remained unused until the image was re-created by Keown for the 1994 pin-up comic Shadowhawk Gallery. The printed version had Shadowhawk in a different costume, with a different background. The updated image was also featured in the 1994 Images of Shadowhawk trading card set from Cards Illustrated. Ink and white paint over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 5.5" x 7.5". Tape around the image, text above and below the art, and signed by Keown. Light smudging and handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition. Bonus page layout on the back, likely planned for Keown's Image comic, Pitt.
