Salvador Dali was commissioned by the Alabretto family in 1963 to produce the images for the Biblia Sacra. Alabretto hoped the commission would bring him closer to God. The Biblia Sacra suite is considered one of Salvador Dali's most important works and no expense was spared in creating this monumental suite.
