Dallmeyer3B Soft Focus rare early brass lens with brass lens board, c.1881, exc+++

Nice and very rare old brass lens made in London by Dallmeyer, it's the 3B Patent Soft Focus. It's serial number is 29034 (I think c. 1881) , with focus pinion (it work well, for its age) and Waterhouse stops (but none are provided) . The lens comes with a brass lens board and lens hood, without caps. For the age the lens is in good condition (the pictures show the condition) , there are some dent on the lens hood. There are also dents on the rotation ring of the soft focus movement (I think it has been repaired) , it still works, even if it is a bit hard at the end of the end of the rotation. Also the glasses are good condition (for their age) , there are some marks on the glasses, some dust inside and some light "halo" (probably it need a light cleaning) . The lens measures around 20. 5cm with the lens hood, the front lens has a diameter of around 8. 5cm, its weight is around 2,070 Kg (without lens board) .
