Damien Hirst began experimenting with spin paintings as early as 1992, and also gave visitors the opportunity to create their own spin paintings at exhibitions and performances. Also on the first two days of the retrospective exhibition "Requiem" 2009 in the Pinchuk Art Center in Kiev, Ukraine, a workshop took place in which visitors could create their own works on four Spin Painting machines on the provided stamped papers with the help of trained assistants and partly also with Hirst himself.

Inspired by this project Hirst came up in April 2023 with the digital variant. Customers could create their own painting online. Every spin painting is uniquely hand signed by Hirst.

Due to the high value and the necessary shipping insurance, the shipping price is slightly higher.
