The coffee splashes and stains used to achieve an old and mysterious atmosphere are part of the instinctual step of the creative process of the work. The skeleton, drawn later with Indian ink and nib, represents the gloomy and melancholy aspect of a fragile soul hidden behind the mask of civilisation.
